• Staying active.  You do have to stay active on Twitter and monitor your following.  The software is only as effective as the amount of time you are willing to commit to its use.
• Cost.  For those just starting out, the commercial/unlimited price tag does carry sticker shock.  The standard/limited version is more affordable, but it permits management of up to only 5 accounts.

Bird Feeder also allows you to manage a blacklist/whitelist of followers, saving you time by blocking those who you never want to follow (maybe they don’t follow back), or those who you never want to unfollow like celebrities (who don’t follow you back).
